Why Do Many Renegade Professionals Fail?

Don’t get me wrong, the Renegade Professional training is fantastic.  It gives you great understanding of how to build a business with the attraction marketing model, but it leaves out some major pieces of the puzzle.

The Renegade Professional program teaches you a lot of things that are very good and important for your business.  They teach their principles to you and they expect you to build this business yourself.  Then you buy another home study course, attend another seminar, buy that hot product, and sooner than later, paralysis of analysis sets in.  You have so much to do, but don’t have a clue where to get started.

Renegade Professional has created this paralysis of analysis, but there is a way out of it.

The secret that most internet entrepreneurs know that most newbies don’t know is to outsource your internet marketing challenges and tasks to the experts.  Look at companies such as IBM, NEC, Siemens, Fujitsu, Intel, AOL, Barnes and Noble, CITI, Dell, HP, and JPMorgam.  They all outsource to the Phillippines!

What does this have to do with Renegade Professional?

Everything!  Renegade Professional gets you to do the work for them.  Renegade Professional created a program called the Super Guides which is made up of students.  These Super Guides build the content, create the video, setup webinars, create presentations, and create more and more content.  This has created a system of dependence.  Renegade Professional has essentially outsourced its entire business to the SuperGuides.  The Renegade Professional program also outsources to others, many of whom where students themselves.  They continue this trend of paralysis of analysis.

Now what does this have to do with you?  Do you have the time, skills and ability to do the following over and over again?

  1. Keyword Research
  2. Blog/Website Creation
  3. Article Marketing
  4. Press Release Writing
  5. Press Release Marketing and Submission
  6. Video Creation
  7. Video Marketing
  8. Audio/Podcasts
  9. Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  10. Social Bookmarking

To do all of the above for one keyword can literally take you months to complete.  Some people get lucky and create a profitable following quickly with a blog, Twitter, Facebook, or some other form of communication.  The reality is that you need all of these to work together before you realize the true rewards.  All of these meachanisms are used used as a network marketing lead generation system.

There are many resources out there that can help you outsource your enormous task list.  Elance is a great place to find an article writer for as little as $5 per article.  Rentacoder is a recommended place to outsource your blog or website design.  Why waste countless hours creating something that turns out to be only mediocre?  Why not get an expert to build your website or blog and make it fantastic.  There are even great resources available for a virtual assistant at HireMyMom.  These are some great resource that you can and should take advantage of.

I would recommend starting small.  Look for a part of your business that is time consuming and has little reward.  I personally started by outsourcing some of my content to a writer.  The first experience was not that great, but I learned to get a higher skilled writer that was actually cheaper.  Remember me referring to companies such as Dell outsourcing to the Philippines?  I did the same thing.  I found a highly skilled writer that speaks and writes fluent English, is highly educated, and charges only $5 per article.  I wanted to kick myself for not doing this sooner.

Renegade Professional is a great resource to help you understand the attraction marketing business model, but it will not build your business.  Don’t fall for the paralysis of analysis that has been created.  Start outsourcing and start leveraging your knowledge!

John,

Fantastic article. You get right down to the core. I absolutely agree. People are not prepared for what they are about to learn and then feel overwhelmed. Outsourcing is a great way to maximize their time.
But I feel this issue goes deeper than what is presented at Renegade. The whole idea is to not spend tons of money buying leads, but spend your money learning the skills to get free leads yourself. I'll have more on this in a future article.

Thanks for the great article! Your site looks fantastic too.

Regards.

Paul

Hey John,

I agree that outsourcing some aspects of your business is smart. For example, I choose to outsource all of my bookmarking spread across 20+ people, and this has made a great deal of difference for the SEO'ing of my websites in the past.

As far as article writing, I have never found anyone who writes with my voice, as there is no other voice other than my own, and I think that unless you're building a huge content network, when you sacrifice your own voice you actually cripple your attraction and ability to differentiate yourself.

I strongly disagree with the angle you took on this article tho, as you stated this sentence,
"Renegade Professional has created this paralysis of analysis, but there is a way out of it"
I couldn't help but wonder how your experience has been with Renegade Professional that you feel they made you feel paralyzed. Seems that with all that Renegade Professional provides, along with the fact that I know you are a RBMP student, you have all you need to build a long term business.

I think the key is to have the discipline to NOT pick up all the other programs that are out there unless you are for sure that you're ready to exhaust all you can from that other program and can dovetail it with what and where you've left off with RPro.

Not sure where you were coming from when you went on the Super Guides tangent and how that contributes to paralysis analysis. You have a very incomplete understanding of the Super Guide program is what you wrote is any indication of your knowledge about the program. The fact is that there are several Super Guides making hundreds of dollars per month on a residual basis because of the lead sharing program that is embedded within the program. In total this represents thousands upon thousands of dollars that RPro has given away to the Super Guides in exchange for the kind of hand-holding group training many people wish they could have. Also, the Super Guides program has turned down many more people than it has let it simply because they haven't met the requirements. For all these reasons and a ton more, the Super Guides program is NOT an outsourcing program.

I saw this article show up in my Google Alerts and it caught my attention. Thanks for the space to share my thoughts about your article.

Paul,

I would love to hear your ideas. There are a lot of tips and trick or even paradigm shifts that we need to share with each others. This will makes better people and better marketers.

Thanks,
John

Eric,

I thought about this article for a long time and I knew I was going to get dinged, but I had to say it. I intended to make this article controversial, but at the same time fair. I intentionally didn't name names or intend on offending anyone. Yes, I've learned a lot from the entire Renegade system, but I also know it is only a training program. The entire Renegade system has created some fabulous material which proves my point, many in this community have become overwhelmed. I talk with many in our community daily about this exact issue. Outsourcing is one way to alleviate the overload for Renegades. Joint venture is another great way. The point of the article is to get others to think of ways to maximize their effectiveness.

Eric, you are a fantastic writer and I'm not. I struggle with it because I'm factual and to the point, but I'm not creative in my writing. I don't have the skills to write from the heart as you do. However, I have written every piece of content on this site. Some people struggle with speaking, some people struggle with website design, some struggle with SEO and some people struggle with bookmarking. The fact of the matter is that we as a Renegade community need to work starter, not harder.

My information on the Super Guides comes from your Super Guides. One of the major topics in this community is about being overwhelmed. If you don't believe me, just ask someone that will give you an honest answer.

This approach is taken directly our of Ann's 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing. Look back and see how she marketed her eBook. She smacked status quo right in the face.

Best Regards,
John
