MLM Tips - Make Network Marketing Easy

I want to get something straight first; network marketing or MLM is not easy, takes hard work and dedication. However, the best tips are always the ones that make your network marketing efforts much easier.

 

Don’t you want to live the life that you have always heard about, but would never reach? You see these people living on the beach, with a mansion, multiple sport cars, big boats, and exclusive country club memberships. Most of these people are not any smarter than the average Joe. The major difference between the average Joe and this multi-millionaire is their ability to work smart and stay focused.

 

How do I work smart?

 

The first way to work smart is to focus your efforts and find your target audience. Finding your target audience is harder than you think. I can tell you this from personal experience that finding your niche is harder than you think. How about people that like to travel? No way, this is way too broad of a subject. Millions of people like to travel and travel is a very competitive subject. How about families that like to go on cruises with small children? Now you are getting somewhere. How about marketing healthy living? Again this is way too broad. A narrow focus might be marketing natural and worry-free products to women who have a family history breast cancer.

 

Why narrow the focus?

 

Marketing heavily used keywords are popular by many; your results will be minimal. The perfect example of why to narrow you focus is travel. Do a Google search on “travel”. Who comes up on the first page of travel? Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, Yahoo Travel, and then Priceline are the top five search result. Can you compete with these companies? No way! Even though travel is a 7 trillion dollar industry there is still too much competition for people that enjoy travel. To top it off, Expedia spends $5 million a week marketing their products. Try narrowing your focus to ‘kid friendly cruises”. Hundreds of people daily will search this keyword. Now you can compete with everyone.

 

Focus your efforts

 

Once you have discovered your niche, learn everything you can about this niche. Become a self made expert. Most importantly, learn from your competitors. Every industry has copy cats and these copy cats try to use what they have learn from their competitors and spin it a little differently. We see this in consumer electronics, television shows, car, home building, anything. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel; you just have to work your business in a smart, focused approach.
